Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary | Nadia Murshidabad Forest Division

In the Nadia district, near Nakashipara, Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary is located( beside NH 34). It is far way from Bethuadahari Railway Station 10 minutes in Tuktuk ( 3Wheels Battery Vehicle).

In 1980, it was built in area 67 hectare to preserve a portion of central Gangetic Alluvial Ecozone.

Animals and Plants

Mammals: Spotted deer (Chital), Jackal, Bengal fox, Porcupine, Common Langur.

Aves: Peacocks, Parakeets, Indian Cuckoos, Barbets and others smaller birds.
